Tarin has been Astrid's best friend from childhood. He is best known for his deadly aim with a bow, and his aggressive temper. Astrid wishes nothing more than to be with him, but can it be given the circumstances?
Rainer Zinchenko
Joining Tarin on his hunts is his best friend, Rainer, sporting a teasing, deliberately insulting humour. He might not be the nicest person to be around, but Tarin certainly appreciates his presence.
Angel Gavriel
When Astrid and Tarin are in the forest, it is the Angel Gavriel who comes to their rescue. He is later referred to as the Guardian of Moscova.
Brandt Belyaev
Hailing from the same village as Astrid, Brandt returns to his hometown as a soldier. He is proud, friendly, and has his eyes on a fair maiden of the village, but he seems to have a rocky relationship with Tarin.
Principality Necoleas
Despite having a title like every Angel, Principality Necoleas, her mentor, insists that Astrid call him by name only. He has a cheerful and blunt demeanor, and doesn't seem to care as much about rules as other Angels.
Leylis Carawind
Leylis is a proud noble, and happy to be teaching Astrid, the new Curate. Intelligent with a bit of attitude, she makes the days at the abbey more bearable for Astrid.
Ezra Nyman
When Astrid arrives at the abbey, there is already a High Priest - Ezra Nyman. Seemingly nice and hard-working, he nevertheless harbours mixed feelings towards Astrid.

Going by two different names, it is unclear whether either one is a real identity. A man on a mission, Cobra has a target - but what is his motive?
"Viper"
Only known as "Viper", this man shows strange magical powers which seem decidedly different than Astrid. Supposedly he has connection to elves, but his goals are unclear.
Seraph Mikael
The Seraph, highest of the Angels, second only to Chessys, is a serious figure who does not let much emotion show. At least, not openly.
Cherub Danil
Just as Astrid has a mentor, so does Ezra. Cherub Danil takes his job a lot more seriously than his counterpart, Necoleas, and aims to guide his student on the right path: The path of Chessys.
Cherub Ymiel
Only referred to as "The Archivist", Cherub Ymiel sports a serious demeanor.
Dominion Puria
According to the Seraph, Dominion Puria is the Head of Military Operations in Central Haven. Her words suggest she is an empathic individual.
